Gratitude is Profitable
What do gratitude and profitability have to do with each other?
They’re both good for business.
Here’s how it works:
Everyday, you get to make a choice about how you frame your experiences.
You can look at a consult call-turned-no as a reflection of how bad you are at your job... or you can take it as an opportunity to learn more about how to support your ideal client.
You can view a disgruntled client as an angry b*+!#... or you can be grateful for the opportunity to get introspective and use her feedback to fuel your own growth.
You can tell yourself you’re a failure when you miss your monthly goal… or you can acknowledge the income you have earned, be thankful for each and every client you’ve ever had and brainstorm additional ways to attract new ones.
The good is always there. You get to decide if you see it.
While this is the American week of giving thanks, it’s actually profitable (and good for the soul!) to be thankful throughout the year.
If you’re committed to growing your business and this isn’t your current practice, I invite you to start now.
Grab a journal and your favorite pen… find a quiet spot… and spend an hour thinking about all the good you’ve been blessed by in the past 10 months:
What have you learned by working with your clients?
What has been possible as a result of having your own business?
How have you grown as a person?
What new skills have you developed?
Simply put: focus on the good and the good will multiply.
This is how to grow your business.
In my signature Revenue Roadmap event, we start by celebrating the wins and growth of the past year before creating plans for the future.
