Jen Waterson founder of Simply Smarter Numbers is a business profit coach, speaker and podcaster. Jen helps business owners make more profit and take back their time. She has been working with business owners for the past 20 years as a CPA, CFO and CEO. Today, Jen works with ambitious service based business owners who are ready to think big, re-write their own rules and take action to build a lifestyle they’d love.

WHY DID YOU START YOUR BUSINESS? 

As an ex-accountant I saw so many business owners making poor decisions without ever really considering the financial impact of those decisions. I'm on a mission to help business owners think differently, think smarter and make better decisions. Making more profit and reclaiming their time!

WHAT CHALLENGES HAVE YOU FACED AND OVERCOME?

I'm big on building a lifestyle business so managing the lifestyle with the business has been a challenge but I'm getting better at it!

WHAT’S THE BEST ADVICE YOU’VE RECEIVED ABOUT RUNNING A BUSINESS: 

The only person’s opinion that really matters is your own.

OUR “IMPACT” FAMILY IS DRIVEN BY EMPOWERING WOMEN TO ACTIVATE THEIR BEST LIFE THROUGH THE FREEDOM OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP. HOW DO YOU DEFINE IMPACT?

Impact means being in the right place, mentally, physically, financially to create a lifestyle you love.  Because I believe when we have the lifestyle we love we are better mothers, wives, daughters, humans.
