Amanda Kendall, founder of Elevating Profits, has been in the accounting and tax industry for her entire adult life and has personally seen the devastation not controlling the finances can have. After saving her own business from near bankruptcy, she shifted from just tax preparation to consulting her clients on the numbers and how to grow them successfully and strategically. WHY DID YOU START YOUR BUSINESS? 

To help entrepreneurs understand the finance side of their business so they can be profitable for the long haul. It’s the reason I continue to do this work today.

WHAT CHALLENGES HAVE YOU FACED AND OVERCOME?

Near financial ruin. I had to put intentional focus back on the numbers and data of the business to make big changes. 

WHAT’S THE BEST ADVICE YOU’VE RECEIVED ABOUT RUNNING A BUSINESS: 

Everyone will have a different opinion of how you should do something. Take in the advice and figure out what works best for you. It may be pieces of the advice you’ve received all wound together.
